Metal Planetary Gearmotors-Iron Core

This series of Metal Planetary Gearboxes with Iron Core dc motors exhibits an expansive range from 12 mm diameter to 90 mm square.
 
The series has been designed from inception as a VALUE offering mating:
 
• Iron Core dc motors – Generally the most Watts per unit cost. Usually with Ferrite Magnet material for low cost and vast availability.
• Magnetic Single Track and Quadrature Encoder Options – Where velocity and/or position feedback in required. This option too is an incredible value proposition, with line counts ranging from 1 line to 7 lines per revolution. No zero index is offered at this time.
• Customer specified motor wiring harnesses, connectors, etc. for the prime actuator.
• Options for the gearbox first stage include: plastic, Bakelite, brass, steel, and in some cases spur vs. helical, depending on series.
• Lubrication Options
• Bearing Options in most cases sleeve or ball bearings. The larger gearmotors tend to be ball bearing equipped as a standard.
• Custom Part Numbers for OEM Clients.
• Quality Assurance Options.
• RoHS Compliant
 
Applications include: disposable medical devices, heating and cooling vent actuation, motorized blinds and shades, locking mechanisms, pumps, door actuation, security cameras, powered hand tools, vehicular actuation of windows and skylights, and dispensing apparatus, to name a few.
